Kate Douglas-Walker is an Emmy-nominated, BBC-trained Series Director whose work spans some of the world's most ambitious unscripted television.

With a distinctly cinematic eye and an instinct for story, Kate brings together creative ambition and technical precision, directing complex multi-camera productions, large-scale challenges and some of television's most recognisable talent. Her credits include Beast Games (Seasons 1 & 2), Million Dollar Secret (Seasons 1–3), The Mole (Seasons 1 & 2), Stars on Mars, Farmer Wants a Wife and Quiz With Balls. As Series Director of the original MasterChef Australia, she also played a key role in shaping the format internationally, working as Consulting Director across more than 25 countries. From remote landscapes to vast purpose-built sets, Kate's work moves between spectacle and the quieter, more human moments within it.
